Making your own organic products with essential oils is a terrific way to improve the smell of your home while also utilizing the magic of aromatherapy. But what happens when the tiny glass bottles run out? There are numerous excellent applications for them. Here are a few of our personal favorites.
Make Your Own Blends
Combining different oils to construct your own blends is an easy way to reuse these essential oil bottles. Then you can put them in the empty bottles. This is an excellent way to reuse your bottles, and it only necessitates a quick rinse after each batch.
One thing to remember is that you should only mix a small amount at a time. You don’t want to waste too much since if you don’t like the blend, you’ll probably throw it out.
Add Carrier or Other Oil
Another way to repurpose the empty bottle is to fill it with carrier oil. If you’re going to use an essential oil directly on your skin, you’ll usually need to mix it with a carrier oil. It will be gently diluted with carrier oil.
You can pour a smaller amount of jojoba or grapeseed oil into the little essential oil bottles instead of carrying around large bottles. Don’t forget to include the label!
Use the Leftovers for Aromatherapy
Remove the cap of the bottle and leave any remaining oil in the bottle. As a natural deodorizer, the aroma can travel throughout the room and remain for a long time.
There are a few points to remember. To begin, don’t leave it in a location where it will be readily knocked over by you, your children, or your dogs. The last thing you want is for it to leak all over the place. It can also be used in a smaller place, such as your closet or bathroom.
Find a Local Recycling Facility
Are you unsure whether or not you want to reuse the bottles? It’s no problem! The majority of them are made of glass and are thus recyclable. Simply find a glass recycling facility in your area and drop it off with your other glass bottles.
Another alternative is to offer them to someone who might find them useful. It’s a good method to recycle since you know it’ll be put to good use, and you’re reducing your carbon footprint by not throwing it away.
Rinse, Recycle, Reuse
You may repurpose your empty essential oil bottles in a variety of ways. Recycling them is one option, but repurposing them is also an option. So don’t toss those tiny bottles away just yet! Try one of these suggestions and see how it goes.
